I am and idiot

This is pretty much how I feel these days. I have decided that I will finally finish my GED and go to college. I dont know however what I want to be when I grow up so any suggestions would be greatly appreciated. I have been studying for a few weeks now and this is what I have learned about myself. I am and idiot. It has been many years since I was in High School even more since elementary and I can not even comprehend Elementary Algebra. I am going to have to enlist the help of my 10 year old to teach me a few things. I have also learned that you dont need to know algebra to get through life. I was a book keeper for many years this was my favorite job and I did not need to know algebra to cut payroll log expenses bill customers or anything else I did everyday at that job. So here I am forcing myself to study some crap I wont need so that I can learn more crap I don't need so I can get a good job ugh so frustrating I have found a great tool though online. It is Kahn Academy  www.kahnacademy.com check it out they have some awesome tutorials online and practice test. I however have about 3 months of studying just to grasp this math. I am scared shitless. Scared I wont pass, Scared I cant do it and scared for what may come in the future however I am sick of my job and sick of my income yes mom you were right I should have finished school.

That being said I am very pleased however to anouce that I could pass the history with no problem and I need a little brush of on my english. I have always loved History I still do I spent the weekend watching Bury my Heart at wounded Knee with my husband. I guess I should clarify I love American History I dont have a lot of interest in other counteries but I am sure that I will come to appreciate that as I have the settling of the west.

Ramblings of the Insane

Wow I am a bad blogger I haven't been on here forever. 

The School year has come and gone and we are officially in our first week of summer. It hasn't been that bad so far but my kids are getting bored easy I wish I could just be home with them, maybe one day but that day is not today. I had to go to work only 5 hours but long  enough. Now I am home and I have to get ready to take my son to a baseball game ugh I loath baseball games. I have not had a particularly good experience with baseball this year which does not help. I have been completely overwhelmed with Jessica's Dance Baseball Games and endless Baseball practices set up by the baseball nazi. Jeremy went back to work and then to top it all off my House flooded. 

Not flooded like Hurricane Katrina or anything but enough to do some serious damage in my Kitchen which resulted in me getting new flooring hooray right, No not right while remodeling may sound fun to some it is not to me I am terrified of ever builindg a home because of all the decisions that have to be made. I am not very indecisive but when it  come to my homes decor I am, and you would be able to tell that if you were here.

Anyway when I had this beautiful new wood like flooring down I procceded to enjoy my first night with a pretty new kitchen floor we ate dinner and then i started a load of laundry. What happened next was pretty much how everything in my life goes. My drain hose for the washer was not in the Drain Pipe that's another 10 Gallons all over my new floor ugh this actually caused a bigger mess than the original flooding. However the contractor took responsibility for not hooking up my washer correctly and did come back to repair the damage. This did leave me with a torn apart house over memorial weekend ugh. But It's all down and looks fantastic.

Well that's it for now I am off to get this hair done so i can go and watch yet another Baseball game.

November

Well my Nice challenge was basically a big flop I was nice but I wasn't really reporting back what I discovered is it is easy for me to be nice I do however have a hard time when some on is a jackass. On to another note Halloween has come and gone and I am great full however I am not loving the fight with my 3 year old he is all sorts of Jacked up on Sugar and when I take it away he will just find where I hid it I swear that kid can climb walls. He wore the most adorable tin man costume that my Mom made. Jessica was a cat. And Ryan was a Cop. We had a great night trunk or treating and then going trick or treating. I have gotten the chance to take down all the Halloween Decorations in my house and put up my Thanksgiving ones which is great the house looks all comfy and cozy for The Holidays coming up. I am really missing Jeremy and I cant wait until he gets home soon I am so happy that he is still working It will really make the winter a little easier for us I was really really worried that we would not make it while he was laid off. I am working 2 Jobs now one at the store and I am working from Home for Suanne Hoffman. Well I have lots of Laundry to put away so I will check in soon meanwhile I hope everyone is enjoying the first day of November as much as I am!

Nothing but Nice Day 2

Well my nothing but nice day 2 was okay I had no problems at work but I did have harder time projecting loving words to my very very very grumpy 3 year old he was kind of a little shit last night and I loose my patience with him very quickly but he did get to bed and I got some piece and quiet

Okay so day one went by just fine I did find however that I don't know how to get rid of someone bothering me at work without being an ass so instead I had to listen to a guy who looked very much like Larry the cable guy talk to me for like a hour some stinky truck driver, Now I have my opinions about truck drivers not all are bad in fact there are some that come in the store that I just absolutely love however a good majority of them drive me crazy, some that are lonely and have a lot to say and then there are the ass holes yes that is right folks some drivers are assholes. But all in all today was not that bad there was nobody to piss me off so being nice was easy so now I am on to day 2.

Okay I am a bitch it is true I am so horrible I am mean and I dont care what you think and sometimes I like to start a fight just to get some of my anger out so here is what I am going to do about it. I am going to start small with a & Day Challenge for myself I am thinking that not only do I need to be kind with my words but I need to show one small act of kindness a day this is going to be hard I am not sure what I will do tomorrow it is going to be a long day and Monday's are me worst but I will give it a shot I will report back tomorrow

Looking for a fight

I am having a terrible day I didn't realize it was a bad day until I got home and thought to myself you have been looking for a fight all week... What is wrong with me, I learned a long time ago that anger stems from deep seeded sadness, so what am I sad about?... Well I had some water heater, family Drama last week that had me in tears for hours that's right folks hours, I completely lost it. my Mother of course spent hours driving me crazy with the intent to help solve my problem. God bless her heart she was very helpful but I was in no place to be around anyone. I love fall and I am sad that my husband is not here to enjoy it with me I know that. There is also alot of animosity here at home the kids are fighting non stop and I know that they are feeding off of me. I have been very cruel with my words to them lately and I know that is not fair.I am also coming to the realization that my life is going by to quickly. Have I hit my midlife ccrisis? I guess I need to ponder on that for a while but meanwhile I will try not to look like this girl....

ROCKSTAR

SO here I am drinking this dainty little Rockstar trying to wake up this morning I was so tired I opted to go strait to the fridge for the Rockstar instead of going for the Coffee this morning. So my sleeping in is getting better I am up around 8 :30 most of the time except for yesterday when I was up at 5:45 thanks to my son but it was good I got my grocery shopping done early and was home to enjoy my day. I need to get ready for today jump in the shower and try to manage this mess on my head I call hair I hate it it drives me crazy I need a definate new hair do but I will probably stick to the same old thing my only other option at this point is to cut it and that is not about to happen not shorter anyway maybe a simple trim I am thinking bangs next time.

UGH

Oh my god I am so sleepy so I got up around 8:30 despite my alarms yes that is plural I set three going off at 6:00 6:15 and 6:30 I slept right through them but I was up before 10 that is a good start the first place I went was straight to my Coffee pot and brewed a nice cup of Joe. I drank about three cups before I could function without a scowl on my face but I was up before 10 and that is doing better. Maybe I wont strive for such an early time tomorrow lets try for 8:00 that is a half and hour earlier. I will keep you posted...on another note I have Bunco Tonight woo hoo I actually have only plaid Bunco once at a tournament for the make a wish foundation in Mesquite so I actually do not know how to play but with plenty of Maragritas to go around and a few bloody mary's it wont matter I will make up my own rules I will have to tell you how it goes tonight maybe they will kick me off their team. haha that is probably what will happen

Sleeping in

I am in serious trouble. I have not been able to get up past 10 am for a week now I hate it I waste me whole day I am staying up too late and I cant sleep well this stops today I am wasting my life away in bed not to mention time with my family. I am going to drug my self up on Tylenol PM tonight at like 9 and go to bed I hope to be up and drinking coffee by 6 :30 so for the first time this year I can see my kids off to school and maybe have some alone time before the monster wakes up. I will report tomorrow and how successful I was with this until then sweet dreams

Tiny Green Cabbages

Tonight we had Brussel Sprouts, this week in our wonderful co-op we were given these tiny little cabbages. We have gotten these before and I am sad to say that I let them go Bad and I threw them away. ( hahaha that was not supposed to rhyme) I was not going to let that happen so tonight I got online and tried to find a way to prepare these wonderful green veggies which by the way are packed with great vitamins and nutrients. So this is what I found....

Brussels Sprouts Cheesy Casserole Recipe

Cheddar cheese adds a nice cheesy taste to brussels sprouts!

2 (10 oz.) pkgs. frozen Brussels sprouts (I used fresh and just steamed them)
2 slightly beaten eggs
1 1/2 c. soft bread crumbs (2 slices)
1 (10 3/4 oz.) can condensed cream of mushroom soup
1/2 c. shredded cheddar cheese
2 tbsp. chopped onion
2 tbsp. butter, melted

Cook Brussels sprouts according to package directions; drain. Cut sprouts into fourths and set aside.

Combine eggs, half the crumbs, soup, cheese, onion, and dash pepper. Fold in sprouts.

Transfer to a 1 1/2-quart casserole. Combine remaining crumbs and butter; sprinkle atop sprouts. Bake uncovered in a 350 degree oven for 35 minutes.

Makes 6-8 servings. --www.cooks.com.

Now I tried this let me just say it was pretty good I used to much salt thought we love salt at our house but the cream of mushroom and butter which was salted added a little to much salt. Did I mention the SALT!!! I served this yummy dish on the side with some elk steak that I beat to death and battered in egg and flout with a little more salt and pepper and some other seasonings and to round it all out I added some crescent rolls. I LOVE CRESCENT ROLLS.

Just thought I would share my odd but pretty good, nice and fattening dinner with my few readers to give you something new to try if you are like me and desperate for some easy but new dining options.

SCHOOLS BACK!!!!!

Back to school Back to school!!!!!!!!!!!!! WOOT WOOT I coulnt be more excited the kids went back to school last thursday and I am so glad that they did I cant believe it is that time already but we all needed a break from eachother them from me and me from them they both have awesome teachers this year Jessica has P. Walk and Ryan has Miss Malquist I have already had Walk so I am really excited about her and Ryan really seems to like his teacher as well I enjoyed meeting her at back to school night and I am glad everyone is happy even if Jessica didin't get the teacher with the bird. ( she didn't because I requested Ms. Walk) I have also been back to work just two nights a week at country junction in Levan it is a good job I am afraid I will have to find something else with better hours but it will do for now I really like it. Well that is all I have until next time....

5 years!!!!

Well it has been five years today since I married Jeremy, and oh boy how time flies lets just see what we have accomplished:
Buying our first home
Buying 2 vehicles Buying a Fifth wheel for his job (it's Paid for Finally)
Buying multiple guns ugh oh and I would have to put the Binoculars and Scope in here or Jeremy would be offended I think he loves them more than me. ( Lets just say we have some Debt)
2 surgeries
1 mis carriage
having a baby (jaxon)
Jer got a new job which requires me to be a single mom most of the year.
Custody of Ryan ( I am glad that is over) Custody of Jessica ( that was a little easier)
3 Dogs all deceased now 2 Cats 1 deceased one driving me crazy 2 Fish Also Deceased I shouldn't have pets they all seem to die
Water line break under the house
Putting both of our big kids in school
endless nights worrying about our kids when they are gone
I wrecked the truck that was a little scary not much damage though on about 800 worth
a few new friends
the loss of some old ones ( RIP K)
And more love for eachother today than the day we said I Do. Through it all we seem to stick together we dont argue much knock on wood and we get along about almost everything we aren't the couple that hold hands and swoon over each other at the movies we support two different political parties please dont bring up politics around us someone will be sleeping int the trailer we sleep in separate beds sometimes cause we are used to not sleeping in the same one we sleep better that way, we dont put much thought into our anniversary we have both pretty much forgot it was even coming up this year. We dont spend a lot of time kissing and hugging maybe we dont do it enough. But I am there for him when he needs me and he knows when I really need him. He is not the type to enable me or make everything all better but when I am really broken he knows how to fix it. Some days we dont talk much and some days we do. I know all his stories and he knows mine ( some of them we probably dont want to know about each other) I know that has a weird dent in his back and his hair grows clear sometimes weird huh and he knows what my legs look like and I dont show them to anyone. I Love him and he loves me that is all that matters. so Happy Anniversary to me!!!!

Bountiful Baskets

For those of you who have not tried Bountiful Baskets I am telling you to try it at least once you will not be disappointed I started about 5 weeks ago fell in Love and now I am the Back up coordinator for the new levan site we are so excited about this. I cant begin to tell you how great the produce is and it so affordable actually it is dirt cheap but you would know it by the quality of the food I love it. I cant wait until Saturday and our pick up time is not until 10 am which means I wont need to be there until 9. Woo Hoo don't know if I could do the 5 am thing again. I hope to see you all there Try it I promise you wont be disappointed.

May Already???

When did it become May? This year is totally throwing me for a loop I cant believe how time flies Jessica's Birthday is in less than a month I guess I better figure out what my girl wants Jeremy has been working. FINALLY!!!!!!!!!!! I am still working at CVM will probably be there forever. I am glad that summer is here it is not my favorite season but I could use a little warm weather so I can send the kids outside to play. Jaxon is getting so Big I can not believe how much he has changed in the last year he is talking now, and he is so hillarious I took the kids to the zoo with Heidi and Christina and Cody last weekend that was and interesting trip to say the least. I have been trying really hard to loose some weight to so far I have lost about seven lbs since march that is a good step in the right direction lets hope I dont put it back on anytime soon.
